I watched this movie with my family, meaning my mom, dad, and brother (he was in 4th grade when we watched this), and was really intrigued with the movie. I personally like the story line because it didn't seem like there were a lot of moments where you went "well that's just common sense. Why did you do that?". There was a lot of logical thinking involved and in some parts I was lost and had to ask my mom and dad to see what was going on. Ususally, when I had a question (I learned this early in the movie) that if you don't understand their actions or why they did the probably smart survival skill that they did then, later in the movie it would make sense and you would get a sense of "Oh! That makes sense!". I believe this movie would be really easy to appeal to people of different genres.
I strongly reccommend this movie to people who like robots or aliens. Be aware that there are a lot of loud explosions with lots of light and the movie is kind of long to the point where you can get fidgety. I have watched this movie over and over again with my friends who are into action movies and I'm still not bored with it. I'm always on the edge of my seat with this movie. It has a lot of twists and turns that always keep you guessing.
